Adobe annonced RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) specification to be published soon (first half of 2009 they say ).
Finally, everyone will be introduced to the real specs of it (not a raw one built by amateurs studing packet-data) and have free access to build own video/audio content controllers/privatizers
